Music and Ancient amulets.

Music and Ancient amulets.

Today after many years searching for it, I finally received it.

It is a 2700 years old Egyptian amulet based on the God Nefertum.
As you know besides my music career I am an Ancient antiquities collector.
I think that  works of art of any kind and antiquities from ancient cultures have some kind of energy that we don’t really understand yet.
What amazes me most of the Egyptian art is the perfection, and the double meaning of their symbolism.
Nefertum was, in Egyptian mythology, originally a lotus flower at the creation of the world, who had arisen from the primal waters.[1] Nefertem represented both the first sunlight and the delightful smell of the Egyptian blue lotus flower, having arisen from the primal waters within an Egyptian blue water-lily, Nymphaea caerulea. Some of the titles of Nefertem were “He Who is Beautiful” and “Water-Lily of the Sun”

My solo music album “Chiri” it is inspired on ancient mysteries and questions that over the years I kept asking to myself, that generated on me a need to write music and express all those experiences.
Emotions and experiences that I was not able to share in other music projects that I participated/created before.
After many years collecting antiquities and helping my parents to categorize their findings (They were archaeologists).
I noticed that each piece had something unique like some kind of soul of its own, later on I started to understand the art was the expression of that time and many symbols and signs were left as codes for future generations or specific point of views of that time.
This Nefertum amulet has probably been used in a mummy from the Middle Period from Egypt.
That is my inspiration for the album that it is currently being mastered named “CHIRI” .
Once again thank you all for your continuous support.

Until the next post!
