January 2018
The night is usually the preferred time for me to play guitar.
My daily playing it is usually eight hours a day, it is just to keep my hand and muscles ready to play when that special feeling comes.
The time that really drives me to create and play is at night, I am a night person since little.
I always thought that during the night everything feels more “unclogged”, many times I seriously thought to switch my daily routines and do them at night, Many people I heard they successfully tried who knows less stressful maybe?.
The other night I was reading an article from (for me one of the brightest minds from the XX century) Mr. Nikola Tesla which he mentions he believed the night was a perfect time for creation due to the stellar light, and close bond.
For this Impromptu, I used a Gibson ES-125 Archtop guitar from 1964 through an American Fender Blues Junior.
Since I was away from the Studio I used the Always Magnifique Shure SM-57 going straight to a Tascam DR-07 for recording purposes.
The internal mic from the Tascam it was a little bit too hot and at some point, on the recording, you’ll hear a couple of peaks.
Thank you for reading this article and hope to see you soon again, If you like it remember to share and to visit my sponsors!.
